Cloth, stitch and textile ephemera have always been a fascination and source of inspiration for me, both my mum and Granma always kept their hands busy with stitch, knitting or crochet, so it’s in my blood.
These are a few of my personal treasures for you to enjoy, I hope that they help you understand my journey. This year 2021 I’m concentrating on a few special items and delving deeper into their history, significance to me and the stories they tell of the hands that have held them. Along with items I have inherited, my treasures also include items from me and my daughter, so I’m not only looking to the past but also the future.
